K1 Health LLC operates MedSavingz.com (“MedSavingz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Notice explains how we handle information when you visit the site, register for the prescription discount card, choose communication preferences, contact support or submit an opt-out request.

Important SMS privacy commitment: Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in information are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide: first and last name, email address, mobile number, ZIP code, optional message/question, support communications, service-SMS consent, marketing-SMS consent, Terms/Privacy acknowledgement and opt-out requests. The standard registration form does not request payment information, a Social Security number or date of birth.

Consent/audit information: we may retain the exact consent language/version presented, consent states, UTC timestamp, IP address, user agent, referrer and source URL so we can document communication preferences.

Technical information: our server may receive IP address, browser/device information, requested pages, referrer and timestamps. Essential session functionality is used for form security and post-registration card access.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide the requested card access and services, process registrations, respond to support requests, maintain consent and suppression records, operate and secure the site, prevent abuse, comply with law and send communications that you request or consent to receive.

If you opt in to account/service SMS, we may send service-related messages. If you separately opt in to marketing/promotional SMS, we may send recurring marketing messages about prescription savings, pharmacy and health/medical discounts, wellness-related offers and savings promotions. Message frequency varies and message/data rates may apply.

3. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that help with hosting, email, SMS delivery, customer support, security, data storage or fulfillment of requested services. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and security.

We do not sell personal information. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Third-party discount card

The card displayed after registration is a third-party Optum Perks pharmacy discount card. If you separately interact with Optum Perks, a pharmacy or another third party, that party’s privacy practices may apply to information you provide directly to it. MedSavingz does not receive pharmacy transaction or prescription details merely because you view the card on this website.

5. Cookies and session technology

The current build uses essential session functionality for form security and to allow access to the card immediately after a successful registration. If analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking technologies are added, this Notice should be reviewed and updated before use.

6. Your choices

SMS: Reply STOP to a MedSavingz text, use our Opt Out page or email support@medsavingz.com. Reply HELP for assistance.

Email: You may request that promotional email stop by using any provided unsubscribe method or contacting support.

Access, correction and deletion: You may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information associated with you, subject to applicable exceptions and verification.

7. Data retention

We retain information as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain consent and opt-out records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal or compliance obligations.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Children

MedSavingz is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 18 through the registration service.

10. United States processing

MedSavingz is operated in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States.

11. California privacy rights

California residents may have additional rights. See our CCPA Disclosure.

12. Changes

We may update this Notice as practices or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted here.
